Taking a subject with Impaq
Elroi Academy does not offer Information Technology or Agricultural Sciences. A Grade 10, 11 or 12 learner can still take one or both of them with Impaq and complete the full 7-subject NSC package with us.
- On our enrolment form, choose Information Technology (Impaq) or Agricultural Sciences (Impaq) under “Outsourced to Impaq”. It counts towards your 7 subjects.
- Elroi charges nothing for an Impaq subject. Your Elroi fee is the admin fee plus your Elroi subjects only. Impaq invoices you directly for the Impaq subject.
- Impaq subjects are for Grade 10, 11 and 12. They are not available to Matric Rewriters or to Grade 8 and 9.
Who registers with Impaq
Only the parent or guardian can register the learner with Impaq and pay Impaq. Elroi cannot register or pay on your behalf.
How to register
- Go to shop.impaq.co.za/registration.
- Choose Online school or Homeschool.
- Choose the learner’s grade.
- Choose Individual Subject Selection, then the subject (Information Technology or Agricultural Sciences).
- Upload the documents Impaq asks for:
- the learner’s birth certificate or ID;
- the account holder’s ID;
- for Grade 11: the learner’s Grade 10 report; for Grade 12: the Grade 10 and Grade 11 reports.
- Impaq checks the application (a quality and academic approval) and sends you an invoice. Once it is paid, Impaq sends the books.

Exams and invigilation
Impaq recommends that a SACAI-certified invigilator is linked to the learner for the Impaq subjects. An Elroi SACAI-certified invigilator can be linked to your learner: tell us when you register with Impaq, and we will help.
Send us each Impaq report card
Impaq does not send results to Elroi. Please send us each Impaq report card (every term) at info@elroiacademy.org. We record the Impaq results in your Elroi reports.
